In mid-July 2020, we visited the Dai An Orphanage with essential supplies. We had spoken to the caretakers beforehand and made a detailed list of their current needs. Our team of volunteers did lots of shopping at local markets, loaded up a van, and drove out to the orphanage.

We brought all of the provisions to the orphanage’s outdoor gardens, and all the children gathered around. On this visit, we brought packages of white noodles, bags of dried seafood, packages of seasonings, packages of instant noodles, diapers, and toiletries.

As a treat for the children, everyone was given their own snack bag to enjoy. The children then went inside and showed our team a dance they had learned in school. It was a lovely visit!

This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations of Sharon Kelly, Stephen Milne, and Scott Huynh. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE

The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
