In December 2021 we had a lovely visit at the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children. We contacted the caretakers and made a detailed list of items the home was in need of. Our team did lots of shopping at local markets, loaded up a van, and drove north to the home.
When we arrived, we stacked all the supplies on the courtyard steps, and all the children gathered around. We brought bags of sweet rice, mung beans, packages of glass noodles, canned fish, canned pork, condensed milk, packages of instant noodles, packages of pho, and toiletries.
To celebrate the holidays, we handed out new toys as Christmas presents to everyone. Also, each child got a bag of snacks and goodies to take home to their families. It was such a fun visit!
This wonderful gift was made possible through the kindness of a family in the USA. Thank you!!!
