In July 2023 we had a great visit with the children at Thua Sai. After speaking to the caretakers, we made a list of items the home needed for the month. On the day of the visit, we did lots of shopping at local markets, loaded up a van, and drove out to see the children.
When we arrived, our team brought all the supplies into the main common room. We brought bags of rice, flour, fish, pork, shampoo, seasonings, condensed milk, instant white noodles, boxes of ramen, fresh milk, cooking oil, fish sauce, body wash, laundry detergent, floor soap, diapers, and toiletries.
As a big gift for the home, we also brought two new swinging benches for people to relax on. Everyone took turns trying them out. As a treat for the children, we handed out slices of sweet cakes, watermelon, and snacks for everyone to enjoy. It was a lovely visit!

ABOUT THE THUA SAI HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving home to these wonderful children.
