In December 2021 we had a great visit at the Thien Tam Orphanage. The caretakers had given us a detailed list of items the orphanage was in need of. Our team bought everything at local markets, loaded up a van, and drove out to the orphanage. The children helped stack all the provisions in the courtyard and gathered together for pictures.

We brought bags of rice, packages of glass noodles, oyster sauce, seasonings, boxes of instant noodles, soy sauce, chili sauce, cooking oil, garlic, onions, sugar, and peanuts.

Due to COVID restrictions, there were many disruptions to the children’s schooling. The children were able to resume school, and the caretakers provided us with the detailed costs for the 2021-2022 school year. On this visit, we were happy to pay for all the children’s education.

Our team of volunteers helped prepare a yummy meal of Vietnamese taco, banh xeo, and everyone had a great time. So fun!

Our biggest thanks to Chuck and Phi Fiese for sponsoring this visit and the children’s education!
