In early August 2020 we had a great visit to the Phu Quang Orphanage. We had contacted the nuns beforehand and learned of the orphanage’s most pressing needs. Our team did all the shopping and brought lots of provisions. The children helped carry everything inside, then gathered in the orphanage’s main common room.
On this visit, we brought boxes of instant noodles, bottles of soy sauce, bottles of cooking oil, packages of instant rice porridge, packages of vegan fish and meats, soap, shampoo, sugar, seasonings, and many fresh vegetables. As a tasty treat on a hot day, we also brought frozen juice snacks in a cooler. So yummy!
This charity visit was made on behalf and in memory of Vinh-Quang Hao Nguyen.
