In May 2021 we had a fun visit to the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children. The caretakers had given us a list of items they were in need of, and we organized a charity trip. Our team bought everything at local markets, loaded up a van, and drove out to the home.
We carried everything into the main common room, and the children gathered around. We brought bags of sweet rice, mung beans, peanuts, shrimp, beef, cans of condensed milk, brooms, toiletries, soap, dish soap, floor soap, fans, mops, napkins, cooking oil, and water bottles.
As a treat, we handed out frozen fruit snacks to all the children. So yummy on a hot day!

ABOUT THE THUA SAI HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving home to these wonderful children.
