In February 2022 we had a fun visit with the children at the Thien Tam Orphanage. We reached out to the caretakers and made a list of essential supplies they were in need of, then arranged to have everything delivered to the orphanage. The children helped carry everything to the courtyard, then arranged all the supplies nicely. On this visit, we brought bags of rice, boxes of noodles, packages of glass noodles, canned fish, cooking oil, black beans, mung beans, peanuts, seasonings, condensed milk, powdered milk, yogurt, salt, siracha, soy sauce, mayonnaise, butter, ketchup, sugar, garlic, shallots, pork, and laundry detergent.
The children opened packages of balloons and had some fun in the courtyard. Next, we had a big lunch prepared for everyone. It was a lovely day!

ABOUT THE THIEN TAM ORPHANAGE
Founded in 2004, the Thien Tam Orphanage lies 20 minutes south of Nha Trang’s city center, in Phuoc Dong ward. The orphanage is run by Nguyen Dinh Chi and his wife Nguyen Thi Kim Lien. A former orphan himself, Chi set up the orphanage in his home as a place of love and sanctuary for orphans in the community. They currently care for 13 young children.
