In October 2023 we had a fun visit with the children at the Dai An Orphanage. We had reached out to the caretakers and asked what food and supplies they needed for the month, and they provided us with a detailed list of items. Our team of volunteers in Nha Trang made preparations for a charity trip. On the day of the visit, we did lots of shopping at local markets, loaded up a van, and made the drive out to the children.
When we arrived, we stacked all the food and supplies next to the gardens, and the children gathered around. On this visit, we brought lots of varieties of fresh fish, bags of dried fish, packages of milk, pork, canned meat, chicken, glass noodles, fresh vegetables, floor soap, detergent, and shampoo.
Finally, the children helped our volunteers prepare bubble tea drinks for everyone. So yummy!

ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE
The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
