In June 2021 we had a fun visit with the children at the Suoi Cat Charity Home. We had coordinated with the caretakers and made a detailed list of the Home’s needs. After doing lots of shopping, our team loaded up a van and drove out to Suoi Cat. The children met us at the van and helped carry everything inside.
We brought bags of rice, boxes of ramen noodles, dried fish, seasonings, sugar, soy milk, and bottles of fish sauce.
Our team of volunteers then prepared a yummy drink, and everyone sat next to the vegetable gardens and enjoyed their treat.

ABOUT THE SUOI CAT CHARITY HOME
Suoi Cat is a poor community to the west of Nha Trang, composed of rural farming hamlets that live in poverty. The Suoi Cat Charity Home is a loving place that houses and cares for many of the community’s children whose families struggle to support and provide for them. The home is composed of young children and teenage girls, who stay at the home year-round, sleep in dormitories, and have meals together in a communal dining hall. The children attend public school and receive tutoring and extra lessons at the home.
