On August 10, 2017 we made a very fun visit to the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children. Thua Sai provides a caring home and school for children with neurological issues in the community while parents are at work. In addition to caring for these children, the nuns also provide classes to further the children’s education, in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang.

Our lead coordinator, Mai Khanh, and her friends threw a birthday party for one of the children, Sam. Sam is one of the older children at Thua Sai, and in addition to being kind and helpful, he is a big brother to the younger children. Our team then prepared a big lunch for everyone.

Mai Khanh is friends with the owner of Mister Dat Hair Salon in Nha Trang. When she told him about Thua Sai, he asked to come along on our next visit. As a special treat for the children, a crew of 3 hairdressers gave everyone haircuts. It was a very fun visit!

This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations of Juli and Kyle. Thank you!!!
