In January and February 2023 we had fun parties at the Nhan Ai Orphanage. Starting in January, we sponsored Lunar New Year celebrations for the children. They dressed up in traditional outfits for singing and dancing, then the nuns handed out red envelopes of lucky money. It was a wonderful way to welcome the Year of the Cat.
The orphanage has a small ball house in the courtyard with other playground equipment, but the balls were in need of replacing. We helped the nuns order new ones, and in February the ball house was completely replenished. The children celebrated by jumping inside, and everyone got ice cream popsicles after. Such a fun day!

ABOUT THE NHAN AI ORPHANAGE
Founded in 1996 by Sister Nguyen Thi Bao Quyen, the Nhan Ai Orphanage resides behind the Giao Xu Phu Nhon Catholic Church in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang. The orphanage is run by the nuns of Nhan Ai and relies entirely upon donations, most of which come from people in the community. Nhan Ai is the largest orphanage that we assist and houses approximately 130 orphans in a wonderfully tranquil home.
