In August 2022 we had a great visit at the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children. After reaching out to the home’s caretakers, we made a detailed list of items they were running low on this month. Our team bought all the items at local markets, loaded up a van, and made the drive out to the home.
On this visit, we brought a new rice cooker, bags of rice, fresh milk, condensed milk, glass noodles, soy sauce, fish sauce, macaroni noodles, sausages, crackers, peanuts, sesame seeds, mineral water, quail eggs, duck eggs, canned pork, canned beef, floor soap, and dish soap.
Many of the children were in the courtyard working on coloring books when we arrived. Everyone gathered together and our team handed out frozen fruit treats as a yummy surprise. It was a lovely day!
This visit was made possible through the kindness of Tuan Nguyen, Linh Lam, Philip Doughty, and a family in the USA. Thank you!!!
