In early August 2020 we had a lovely visit with the children at the Dai An Orphanage. We had reached out to the orphanage’s caretakers beforehand and made a detailed list of their current needs. Our team of volunteers went to local markets and shops, bought everything on the list, and made the drive out to the orphanage.

On this visit, we brought a box of dried squid, a box of dried fish, canned meats, milk, chili sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, dish soap, toothpaste, and new athletic shoes and sandals for the children.

We handed out snacks for the children, and they were all eager to try on their new shoes and sandals. Such a fun visit!

This charity trip was made possible through the kindhearted donations of Sharon Kelly, Stephen Milne, and Scott Huynh. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE

The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
