In April 2026, our mission to provide life-changing cataract surgeries for the elderly in Vietnam’s Can Tho province officially entered its second month. While this southwestern region is known for its vibrant spirit, the high cost of essential eye care continues to be a significant barrier for many senior residents.
This ongoing initiative was inspired by the compassion of Carolyn Chau-Kha, whose heart for this cause has established a sustainable, long-term commitment. By supporting a new group of individuals each month, Carolyn is ensuring that the gift of sight remains a consistent reality for those in need.
This month, in collaboration with our dedicated local volunteer team, we were able to reach 10 deserving individuals requiring urgent procedures. Seeing the profound relief and gratitude on their faces reminds us of the immediate impact this sponsorship has on their quality of life.
