This April, the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children felt a little brighter thanks to your incredible generosity.

After checking in with the dedicated caretakers to see how we could best support their daily mission, we identified a few “must-haves” to improve the children’s comfort and quality of life.

Delivering the Essentials

We were thrilled to fulfill their entire wishlist, providing:

  • Restful Sleep: New sleeping mats, blankets, and pillows for a much-improved naptime.
  • Daily Comfort: Sturdy new plastic chairs for activities and meals.
  • Home Care: A fresh supply of washing liquid to keep everything clean and bright.

A Festive Celebration

The delivery turned into a full-blown party! As we stacked the supplies in the courtyard, the children rushed out to greet our team with big smiles. We leaned into the joy of the moment by handing out balloons and popsicles, turning an ordinary delivery day into a festive afternoon of treats and laughter.

Thank You for Making it Possible

A day like this only happens because of you. Every mat, chair, and popsicle was funded by the kind donations of our donors Steven Burger and Ronald Schierer.

Thank you for helping us bring comfort and joy to the children at Hy Vong!
