In early October 2020 we had a fun visit to the Sunflower Orphanage. It’s the time of the Mid-Autumn Festival in Vietnam, with traditional paper lanterns, moon cakes, and other treats. We coordinated with the orphanage’s caretakers about bringing some essential supplies, and a nice holiday surprise for the children.

When our team arrived, the children helped carry everything into the common room. We brought milk, sweet rice, soy sauce, seasonings, laundry detergent, dish soap, and school supplies.

We then had a Mid-Autumn Festival party and handed out paper lanterns, moon cakes, and treats to all the orphans. Such big smiles! After having fun with their lanterns, some of the children hung them from the ceiling to give the orphanage a festive atmosphere.

This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations from Li Handmade Masks. Visit their Facebook page here https://www.facebook.com/lihandmademasks. Thank you!!!
