In January 2025, we brought Lunar New Year joy to the children at the Thien An Charity Home. To celebrate Tet, we coordinated with the caretakers to bring the children special gifts on our next visit. All of the children come from poor families, so we arranged for each child to get their own Tet care package to take home.
First, we gathered all the children together in the main courtyard. Next, our team prepared bubble tea drinks for everyone to enjoy. So yummy! Then, our team handed out red envelopes to each child. Finally, they all got a bag containing banh Tet sticky rice cakes and other traditional treats and sweets. Happy new year!

ABOUT THE THIEN AN CHARITY HOME AND SCHOOL
This loving place is located in the hilly countryside of Khanh Hoa province. There are very few schools in this region and illiteracy among children is high. The local Thien An Catholic Church sought to help the children complete their schooling, so started the Thien An Charity Home and School. The children have housing accommodations and receive their meals in a communal dining hall. Classrooms have been set up so the children can all receive the education they richly deserve.
