In January 2025 we had a Lunar New Year party at the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children. It’s the biggest holiday of the year in Vietnam, and we wanted to bring joy to these amazing children. We coordinated with the caretakers and brought special gifts for the occasion.

When our team arrived, the home was already decorated for Tet. For general supplies this month, we brought shrimp, meat pies, and seasonings. To celebrate Tet, each child got care packages to take home to their families, which included banh Tet sticky rice cakes, sunflower seeds, and traditional treats and sweets. Finally, our team prepared bubble tea drinks for all to enjoy. It was a lovely day!

This holiday trip was made possible through the kind donations from Avani Macwan and a family in the USA. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE THUA SAI HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN

Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving home to these wonderful children.
