In October 2021 we were very proud to sponsor all the education costs of the Sunflower Orphanage. With strict COVID lockdowns for much of the year, Sunflower had received fewer visitors and donations. We are committed to the children’s education, and wanted to ensure they had everything they needed for this school year.
We bought all the textbooks, school uniforms, footwear, school supplies, and paid all the school fees for every child. We also brought some general supplies for the orphanage. Now that travel restrictions are easing, our team of volunteers were thrilled to be able to visit the children in person once again. It was so lovely to see them!

ABOUT THE SUNFLOWER ORPHANAGE
The Sunflower Orphanage first began taking in orphans in 1993 and is located in the heart of Nha Trang. There are large facilities and separate locations for middle school and high school students. Sunflower currently cares for about 35 orphans aged 10 to 18, plus several toddlers. The orphanage has a history of taking in street children and youths from troubled homes and coordinates its efforts with the Dai An Orphanage.
