In September 2024 we visited the Dai An Orphanage with lots of food and general supplies for the month. We also came with a special gift. It’s the beginning of the school year and the combined costs can be quite high for an orphanage. They must pay for new school uniforms, textbooks, school supplies, backpacks, shoes, and school fees. We always endeavor to help with the children’s education, and told the Dai An caretakers that we would help support the costs for the 2024-2025 school term. They were so happy!

When our team arrived, the children had just come home from school and were all in their school uniforms. They helped us stack all the supplies on the table next to the gardens, and everyone gathered together. For the monthly supplies, we brought bao buns, canned tuna, seasonings, sausages, food wraps, baby formula, soy sauce, sugar, racks of eggs, white noodles, fresh vegetables, quail eggs, fish, shrimp, boxes of ramen, and laundry detergent.

To celebrate the start of the school year, we prepared bubble tea drinks and snacks in the gardens. There were lots of smiles!

This charity trip was made possible through the kindhearted donations from Sharon Kelly, Stephen Milne, Scott Huynh, and Stephen Burger. Thank you!!!
