In September 2023 we were proud to support the education costs of the Nhan Ai Orphanage. Nhan Ai is one of the largest orphanages that we visit, and has school-aged children in primary, middle, and high school, plus some older orphans attending trade schools and university. All of the education costs add up, and the nuns who run the orphanage struggle every year to raise the needed funds.
We are dedicated to supporting education and spoke at length with the nuns about how we could help. They provided detailed lists of costs and we were very happy to help fund the costs for the upcoming school year. These include buying new school uniforms, textbooks, backpacks, and school supplies, paying all the school fees, and buying new bicycles for the children to share. The nuns were so happy! They sent us many fun pictures of the children wearing their new school uniforms and trying out the bicycles.

ABOUT THE NHAN AI ORPHANAGE
Founded in 1996 by Sister Nguyen Thi Bao Quyen, the Nhan Ai Orphanage resides behind the Giao Xu Phu Nhon Catholic Church in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang. The orphanage is run by the nuns of Nhan Ai and relies entirely upon donations, most of which come from people in the community. Nhan Ai is the largest orphanage that we assist and houses approximately 130 orphans in a wonderfully tranquil home.
