In September 2022 we were thrilled to sponsor all the education costs of the Dai Ai Orphanage for the 2022-2023 school year. Dai An cares for many children and every year the total school costs are a struggle to pay. This includes buying school uniforms, sandals, textbooks, school supplies, and paying school fees. We told the nuns at Dai An that we would pay for everything and they were so happy!
Our team arrived at the orphanage with all the school supplies plus a big allotment of food and general supplies for the month. The general supplies included packages of milk, bags of sticky rice, racks of eggs, meats, bottles of soy sauce, seasonings, laundry detergent, dish soap, toothpaste, and comic books.
The children were quick to explore the comic books and were eager to try on their new outfits. Soon everyone was wearing school uniforms and new sandals. We also handed out popsicles as a fun treat. It was a great day!

ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE
The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
