In September 2026, our team made our monthly visit to the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children. Before each trip, we consult directly with the home’s dedicated caretakers to ensure every item we bring directly supports the children’s daily needs.
Upon our arrival, the children were completing their morning exercises—an energetic start to the day filled with bright smiles! Our volunteers gathered everyone in the common room to unpack this month’s essentials, which included:
- Staple Foods: 50kg bags of rice, packages of noodles, boxes of milk, and instant noodles
- Everyday Supplies: Essential toiletries and treats
- Educational Materials: Notebooks, coloring books, colored markers, and individual whiteboards
The highlight of the day was our surprise arts and crafts workshop. We set up paint stations in the study room, complete with small statues for each child to customize. The caretakers helped guide the activity, and the children showcased incredible creativity and enthusiasm.
This visit was made possible thanks to the wonderful generosity of a family in the USA and an anonymous donation in honor of St. Raphael. Thank you for your continued support and for making these essential deliveries possible!
ABOUT THE THUA SAI HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving home to these wonderful children.
