This September, our team returned to Thien An Charity Home for another wonderful day spending time with the children and dedicated caretakers.
To ensure every contribution made the greatest possible difference, we coordinated directly with the staff beforehand to build a checklist of their most urgent daily necessities. Armed with the list, we headed to the local markets and loaded our delivery van to the brim.
The energy and laughter on the playground were contagious as we arrived and unloaded the month’s delivery. Thanks to the steady generosity of our community, we were able to supply essential food staples and nutritious treats, including:
- Fresh eggs, milk, yogurt, and condensed milk
- Packs of sausages and quality cooking seasonings
- Boxes of instant noodle soup and various snacks

ABOUT THE THIEN AN CHARITY HOME
This loving place is located in the hilly countryside of Khanh Hoa province. There are very few daycare facilities in this region and illiteracy among children is high. The local Thien An Catholic Church sought to help the children complete get a head start on their schooling, so started the Thien An Charity Home as a daycare and kindergarten for youngsters. The children are cared for during the day and receive free meals in a communal dining hall. There’s playground equipment and classrooms so the children can all receive the education they richly deserve.
