In mid-September 2019 we visited the Sunflower Orphanage with lots of exciting gifts. This is the time of the Mid-Autumn Festival in Vietnam, which is a fun holiday for children. They get to eat yummy treats like moon cakes, decorate their home with paper lanterns, and children get their own lanterns to wave about. We coordinated with the caretakers at the orphanage and brought moon cakes, snack bags, and paper lanterns for all the children. They had so much fun!

We also brought some essential supplies the caretakers had requested, including baby formula, a new toaster oven, 5 wall-mounted fans, milk, shampoos, and soaps. The children put together the lanterns and decorated the orphanage with our team of volunteers. A lovely visit!

This charity visit was made on behalf and in memory of Vinh-Quang Hao Nguyen. Thank you!!!
