In June 2022 we made a charity trip to the Sunflower Orphanage in downtown Nha Trang. After coordinating with the orphanage caretakers, our team bought lots of provisions at local markets, loaded up a van, and drove to the orphanage.
When we arrived, some of the children were playing volleyball in the main courtyard. They paused playing and helped carry all the supplies into the common room. On this visit, we brought packages of macaroni noodles, bags of sweet rice, bottles of soy sauce, sugar, boxes of ramen, cooking pots and pans, chopsticks, a barbeque rack, brooms, toothpaste, shampoo, detergent, cleaning products, and many pairs of sandals.
Our team stayed for a while and visited with the children and handed out popsicles for everyone to enjoy. Such a fun day!
This charity trip was made possible through the donations from Dan, Van, and Devin Haynes. Thank you!!!
