In August 2021 we had lots of food and supplies delivered to the Dai An Orphanage. Due to strict COVID lockdowns in Vietnam, our teams cannot visit the orphanages in person. We haven’t let that deter us from our mission of providing aid, however. We contacted the caretakers and made a detailed list of items they were running low on. Our coordinators bought everything at local markets and had it delivered to the orphanage.

We brought packages of instant pho, instant noodles, sausages, bottles of soy sauce, sriracha, seasonings, assorted fresh meats, fabric softener, cleaning products, and brooms. We also arranged for the children to have a yummy snack.

This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations of Sharon Kelly, Stephen Milne, and Scott Huynh. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE

The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
