In October 2022 we had lots of food delivered to the Phu Quang Orphanage. We spoke with the head nun at the orphanage and learned which provisions they needed this month. Coordinating with local markets, we arranged to have everything delivered to the orphanage. This included bags of rice, boxes of ramen, bottles of soy sauce, jugs of cooking oil, lots of fresh vegetables, yogurt drinks, and snacks.
The children carried everything into the main courtyard. Next, all the supplies went into the kitchen and the children shared their snacks in the common room. It was a great day!

ABOUT THE PHU QUANG ORPHANAGE
The Phu Quang Orphanage was founded by Sister Thich Nu Dieu An at the Phu Quang pagoda in the early 2000’s. For many years, the orphanage has been a loving home to a group of orphans and a foster home to neighborhood children whose families struggle to support and provide for them. Phu Quang cares for just under 15 children in a loving environment.
