In June 2024 we had a wonderful visit with at the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children. We had contacted the caretakers and said we wanted to do something special for the children on our monthly visit, in addition to bringing food and general supplies for the home. They gave our team some great ideas, and we put our plan into motion.
When our team of volunteers arrived, the children came out to greet us and help carry the general supplies into the common room. These included bags of rice, boxes of noodles, milk, cooing oil, seasonings, fish sauce, sweet cakes, detergent, sleeping mats, brooms, shelves, trash cans, water pitchers, cups, buckets, and storage containers.
We also gave each child a new set of clothes and a gift bag to take home to their families. Next, our team prepared a big lunch for all the children, with ice cream and chocolate syrup for dessert. It was a lovely day!

ABOUT THE THUA SAI HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving home to these wonderful children.
