In April 2023 we had a fun trip to the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children. After speaking to the nuns at the home, we made a detailed list of food and general supplies they needed this month. On the day of the visit, our team of volunteers bought everything at local markets, loaded up a van, and made the drive out to see the children.

We brought all the supplies into the main common room and children gathered around. On this visit, we brought bottles of fish sauce and soy sauce, boxes of ramen noodles, packages of glass noodles and yellow noodles, siracha, cooking oil, milk, canned meat, pork, fish, shrimp, racks of eggs, seasonings, snacks, cleaning products, and toiletries.

As a fun surprise, we also brought three small cakes from a local bakery. We set up tables and chairs in the courtyard, and all the children got slices of cake. A yummy treat!

This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations from Vien Lam and Kevin Spring and an anonymous donor. Thank you!!!
