In April 2023 our team brought lots of food and general supplies to the Ngoc Van Orphanage, and had a fun visit with the children. We had reached out to the orphanage caretakers and asked what provisions they needed this month. We took down a detailed list of items, and on the day of the visit our team did all the shopping at local markets. We loaded up a van and made the drive north.

When we arrived, we unloaded the van and carried everything into the main common room. On this visit, we brought varieties of ramen noodles, siracha, seasonings, baby formula, and diapers.

As a fun treat for the children, our team brought a cooler with frozen ice cream treats. All the children sat around on the floor eating their yummy treats.

This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations from Hung Pham, Elaine Nguyen, Linh Lam, and Dan, Van, and Devin Haynes. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE NGOC VAN ORPHANAGE

Located in the northern part of Khanh Hoa province, the Ngoc Van Orphanage was founded in 2020 after a big storm hit central Vietnam. There were many deaths from the storm, and several orphans were brought to the Ngoc Van Pagoda to be cared for the monks there. Since then, the orphanage has grown and now cares for about 20 small children.
