On August 31, 2019 we visited the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children with general foodstuff. Hy Vong is a loving home for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. There are children with cerebral palsy, autism, as well as deaf, mute, and blind children being cared for at the home. Located in the countryside to the southwest of Nha Trang, the nuns at Hy Vong provide for the children and offer a nurturing home.
We contacted the caretakers about their needs and organized a visit. Our team brought boxes of dried fish, packages of noodles, milk, packages of seasonings, toothpaste, and toiletries. The children gathered in the common room then we took them outside for a fun treat: ice cream! We had an ice cream vendor drive to the Home and give scoops of ice cream and fruit in cups. So fun!
This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations of a family in the USA.
Thank you!!!
