On January 2, 2015 we gave the orphans from the Phu Quang Orphanage a fun field trip and ice cream party. This trip was sponsored by JL Support Services in the USA, and brought smiles to the children’s faces on the New Year. When we asked the head nun about giving the children a special treat, she said they would love a trip into Nha Trang. Our lead coordinator, Ngoc, had the kids pile into a van at the orphanage and they all headed into the city. They visited the big shopping mall, Nha Trang Center, and then went to the playground and ice cream shop on Champa Island. The children played and snacked, and enjoyed a fun spontaneous field trip.
