In July 2022 we visited the Sunflower Orphanage with some special and timely gifts. The summer heat is bearing down on Vietnam and the caretakers at Sunflower asked for some new standing fans. The orphanage does not have air conditioning and wanted some new fans to help the children stay cool.
Our team bought 5 new fans and came out to the orphanage. There was lots of assembly required, and the teenagers were eager to put the fans together and get them up and running. As a cool treat on the hot day, we also brought iced fruit popsicles for everyone.

ABOUT THE SUNFLOWER ORPHANAGE
The Sunflower Orphanage first began taking in orphans in 1993 and is located in the heart of Nha Trang. There are large facilities and separate locations for middle school and high school students. Sunflower currently cares for about 35 orphans aged 10 to 18. The orphanage has a history of taking in street children and youths from troubled homes and coordinates its efforts with the Dai An Orphanage.
