In early September 2019 we visited the Dai An Orphanage with essential supplies. We had contacted the caretakers and learned of their most pressing needs. In addition to some foodstuff, most of their requests were kitchen supplies. Our team made the purchases at local markets and brought everything to the orphanage. We brought rice, instant noodles, and milk. For the kitchen, we brought lots of new bowls and plates, packages of chopsticks, and new cooking pots. As a fun surprise for the children, we brought lots of paper lanterns that the children had lots of fun putting together.

This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations of Sharon Kelly, Steven Milne, and Scott Huynh. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE

The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
