In April 2026, we were thrilled to complete a series of essential repairs and upgrades at the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children.

Prior to the project, we consulted with the caretakers to identify the home’s most pressing needs. Their top priority was the front courtyard, which suffered from badly cracked concrete that they frequently had to hide. They dreamed of a beautiful tiled patio where the children could safely spend time. Additionally, several doors required repair, along with various other maintenance tasks throughout the facility.

We were honored to step in and sponsor the entire scope of work!

Project Highlights

  • Courtyard Transformation: Replaced the damaged concrete with high-quality patio tiles, creating a bright and welcoming outdoor space.
  • Essential Repairs: Fixed broken doors and addressed general maintenance issues to improve the safety and comfort of the home.
  • A Heartfelt Celebration: Once the work was complete, our team visited to celebrate with the staff and children.
  • Creative Thanks: The children worked together on a vibrant arts-and-crafts project, creating a large “Thank You” sign. Watching their enthusiasm and teamwork was a true highlight of the day.
  • Sweet Success: We capped off the celebration by handing out ice cream popsicles to all the children and staff.

A Note of Gratitude

ABOUT THE THUA SAI HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN

Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving home to these wonderful children.
