Our recent visit to the Lac Thien Orphanage in April was a productive day focused on providing practical support for the children and staff. By coordinating directly with the team there, we were able to bring exactly what was needed to keep the kitchen and facility running smoothly.

Our volunteers arrived with a van full of supplies, and it was great to see the immediate impact as we unloaded everything into the main courtyard. Here is a look at what we delivered:

  • Kitchen Staples: Large quantities of rice, beans, eggs, fish sauce, cooking oil, and soup packages.
  • Essential Supplies: Washing powder, toiletries, and various seasonings for daily meals.
  • Facility Upgrades: A brand-new storage freezer and a water dispenser to help with food preservation and filtered water access.

The best part of the day was spending time with the kids, sharing snacks, and seeing them enjoy the treats we brought along.

We are incredibly grateful to our donors for making these deliveries possible: the Kinghurst Foundation, David and Trini Nguyen, Shaun Minn, Tri Phung, Vanessa Nguyen, and two anonymous donors. Your support provides tangible, everyday comfort to these children. Thank you!
