In December 2016 we brought Christmas to the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children in Cam Ranh. Thua Sai is a loving home for children who suffer from neurological and mental disorders, as well as caring for some deaf children. These children all come from poor families who cannot afford the special care needed for the children. So the children come to Thua Sai for care and education during the week from the loving nuns at the center.
We wanted to give the children a special Christmas. Our team of volunteer Santas brought lots of presents for all of the children, including new toys and clothes, and gave everyone at Thua Sai a fun and healthy feast. The children sat around in a circle, sang songs, and dove into their presents. It was a fun holiday party!
