In mid-September we had a lovely visit to the Khanh Son Charity Home. We had reached out to the nuns and learned of their most pressing needs and arranged to have lots of essential provisions brought to the home. One this visit, we supported the children’s education by bringing all the textbooks the children will need for the upcoming school year. We also brought many bags of rice, which the children helped stack in the common room. We also got a treat to see some of the gardens the nuns and children maintain next to the home.

This charity trip was made possible through the kindness of anonymous donors at Abbvie and Intel. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE KHANH SON CHARITY HOME

Located in the mountainous area to the southwest of Nha Trang, the Khanh Son Charity Home is a loving place that houses and cares for many of the community’s children whose families struggle to support and provide for them. Some of the children stay at the home year-round, sleep in dormitories, and have meals together in a communal dining hall. The nuns provide a nurturing environment for all, ensure the children attend local public schools, and offer free daycare, kindergarten, and after-school tutoring lessons.
