In October 2022 we had a lovely visit with the children at Hy Vong. After contacting the caretakers, we took down a detailed list of items the home needed. Our team did all the shopping locally, loaded up a van, and drove out to the home.
When we arrived, the children helped stack all the provisions on the steps of the courtyard. On this visit, we brought bags of rice, seasonings, macaroni noodles, bottles of soy sauce, packages of milk, canned fish, canned pork, seaweed, racks of eggs, duck and quail eggs, boxes of ramen noodles, cleaning products, and dish soap.
As a fun surprise, we also handed out snacks and toys for the younger children to play with. It was a great visit!

ABOUT THE HY VONG HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in the Suoi Cat district to the west of Nha Trang, the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders and disabilities whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving and caring environment for a group of amazing children.
