In August 2023 our team had a lovely visit with the children at the Thien An Charity Home. After speaking with the caretakers, we learned which food and general supplies they needed this month. We leapt into action and organized a visit to bring them everything on their shopping list. Our team of volunteers did all the shopping at local markets, loaded up a van, and made the drive out to see the children.
When we arrived, we stacked all the supplies in the main courtyard. On this visit, we brought cooking oil, fish sauce, milk, water bottles, crackers, rice paper, sugar, gloves, utensils, wipes, school supplies, toys, and a large play mat.
As a surprise for the children, we handed out popsicles for everyone to enjoy. A great treat for a hot day!

ABOUT THE THIEN AN CHARITY HOME AND SCHOOL
This loving place is located in the hilly countryside of Khanh Hoa province. There are very few schools in this region and illiteracy among children is high. The local Thien An Catholic Church sought to help the children complete their schooling, so started the Thien An Charity Home and School. The children have housing accommodations and receive their meals in a communal dining hall. Classrooms have been set up so the children can all receive the education they richly deserve.
