In March 2023 we had a great visit to the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children. After speaking to the caretakers, we planned a visit with lots of food and supplies for the month. Our team of volunteers bought everything at local markets, loaded up a van, and made the drive south to the home.
When we arrived, the children were in the classrooms having their lessons. They took a break and came out to the courtyard with our volunteers to play some games. Next, everyone came into the common room. On this visit, we brought milk, mung beans, glass noodles, toiletries, rice crackers, ramen noodles, bags of rice, duck eggs, oranges, peanuts, bottles of soy sauce, cooking oil, laundry detergent, and cleaning supplies.
Finally, our team helped prepared a nice lunch for everyone, including sugar cane drinks. The children had a wonderful afternoon!

ABOUT THE THUA SAI HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving home to these wonderful children.
