In February 2023 we made a visit to the Dai An Orphanage. After speaking to the caretakers, we created a detailed list of items to buy the orphanage this month. Our team shopped at local markets, loaded up a van, and drove out into the countryside where Dai An is located. When we arrived, the children helped stack all the provisions next to the gardens.
On this visit, we brought bags or rice, seasonings, canned meat, canned fish, ground pork, meat pie, quail eggs, sugar, macaroni noodles, salt, shallots, shrimp, fish, pork, and lots of fresh fruit.
When everyone was gathered together, our team sliced up fresh watermelon for all to enjoy. Afterwards, the children gave our volunteers a tour of the large vegetable gardens behind the orphanage. So lovely!

ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE
The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
