In January 2021 we had a fun visit at the Thua Sai Home for Disabled Children. We had worked with the caretakers of the home and made a detailed list of items they were in need of. Our team did the shopping at local markets, loaded up a van, and drove out to see the children.
We brought all the provisions into the common room, and the children gathered around. We brought milk, shrimp, pork, glass noodles, bottles of cooking oil, boxes of ramen, floor soap, hand soap, and brooms, and snacks.
As a fun treat for the children, our team of volunteers prepared sweet drinks in the home’s kitchen, and the children enjoyed a cool and refreshing snack. It was a lovely visit!
This charity trip was made possible through the kind donation from Jack, Nicole, and Charlie Malone. Thank you!!!
ABOUT THE THUA SAI HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in a peaceful country setting in Cam Ranh, to the south of Nha Trang, Thua Sai offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving home to these wonderful children.
