In January 2021 we had a fun visit at the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children. We contacted the caretakers and learned of the home’s most immediate needs. Our team then went to local shops and bought lots of essential supplies and foodstuff, then loaded up a van and drove to Hy Vong.
Upon our arrival, the children were excellent helpers, and brought everything into the main common room. On this visit, we brought boxes of instant noodles, packages of sausages, condensed milk, bottles of soy sauce, bottles of cooking oil, packages of seasonings, and cleaning supplies.
As a fun treat, our team then handed out ice cream cones to all the children. So fun!

ABOUT THE HY VONG HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in the Suoi Cat district to the west of Nha Trang, the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders and disabilities whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving and caring environment for a group of amazing children.
