In August 2025, our team visited the Anh Dao Orphanage to deliver a month’s worth of food and essential supplies. We are dedicated to supporting the children’s education, and also coordinated with the head nun to bring everything the children will need for the upcoming school term. When we arrived at the orphanage, the children greeted our team in the courtyard and helped carry all the provisions into the main common room.

For essential supplies, we brought bags of rice, noodles, lotus seeds, dried apples, sugar, fresh vegetables, pepper, meats, eggs, seafood, mushrooms, tofu sheets, seaweed, soap, shampoo, detergent, milk, and baby formula.

To support the children’s education, we brought new textbooks, school uniforms, school supplies, backpacks, footwear, and paid all school fees.

As a special surprise for the children, we brought fresh banh mi sandwiches for all to enjoy!

This month’s food and general supplies were provided by donations from Hiep Nguyen. The children’s education was sponsored by donations from Luanne Lemmer.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone’s support and kindness!

About the Anh Dao Orphanage

Established in 2004 by Buddhist nun Thich Nu An Son, the Anh Dao Orphanage is a safe haven for a large group of children in need. Located in Ninh Hoa, just 62 kilometers north of Nha Trang, this heartfelt home offers a structured and nurturing atmosphere where joy and kindness flourish. Visitors are always struck by the cheerful spirits of the children and the genuine delight of spending time talking, playing, and simply being present with them.

To support the children’s nourishment and help offset monthly expenses, Sister An Son cultivates a modest farm behind the orphanage, near the girls’ living quarters. The farm yields fresh vegetables that are served in daily meals, and any surplus is sold to contribute to the home’s upkeep. It’s a beautiful cycle of care, sustainability, and love in action.
