In November 2021 we had a great visit with the children at the Thien Tam Orphanage. We had reached out to the caretakers and learned of their most pressing needs. Our team took the list to local markets and did lots of shopping. We then loaded up a van and drove out to the orphanage. The children were excellent helpers and stacked everything in front of the building.
On this visit, we brought boxes of instant noodles, racks of eggs, bags of rice, cheese, milk, bottles of cooking oil, packages of yellow noodles, glass noodles, sugar, soy sauce, fresh vegetables, seasonings, oyster sauce, fresh meats, fish, shampoo, and distance learning equipment.

ABOUT THE THIEN TAM ORPHANAGE
Founded in 2004, the Thien Tam Orphanage lies 20 minutes south of Nha Trang’s city center, in Phuoc Dong ward. The orphanage is run by Nguyen Dinh Chi and his wife Nguyen Thi Kim Lien. A former orphan himself, Chi set up the orphanage in his home as a place of love and sanctuary for orphans in the community. They currently care for 13 young children.
