On April 10, 2017 our team visited the Lac Thien Orphanage with lots of essential supplies for the orphanage. Lac Thien is a loving home to orphans in Ninh Hoa near Doc Let Beach, north of Nha Trang. Dependent on donations for survival, we contacted the nuns and asked what their most pressing needs were. Led by our Lead Coordinator, Mai Khanh, our team brought boxes of noodles, stacks of pork ribs, seasonings, bags of sugar, bottles of cooking oil, kitchen cutlery, clothes, cleaning products, water well buckets, light bulbs, diapers, and lots of snacks and balloons for the children.
Our team played with the children, and were given a tour of the gardens behind the orphanage. It was a very fun visit! This charity trip was sponsored through the kindhearted donations of Carmen Wittler, Suruchi Khemka, Michael Xue, and an anonymous donor in the USA.
Thank you!!!
