In May 2024 we had a great visit to Hy Vong. We coordinated with the caretakers and arranged to bring lots of food and general supplies to help them out this month. They provided our volunteers with a detailed list of items, which they took to local markets. On the day of the visit, our team loaded up a van and made the drive out to Hy Vong.
When we arrived, the children came out to greet us and we stacked all the supplies on the courtyard steps. On this visit, we brought bags of rice, boxes of ramen, milk, glass noodles, bottled water, soy sauce, yogurt, fish, pork, seasonings, snacks, a standing fan, and toiletries.
We handed out snacks to the little ones and had a wonderful visit with the children. This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations from Robert Weber, Linh Lam, and a family in the USA. Thank you!!!
ABOUT THE HY VONG HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Located in the Suoi Cat district to the west of Nha Trang, the Hy Vong Home for Disabled Children offers a home and school for children with neurological disorders and disabilities whose parents cannot afford the specialized care their children require. The nuns and caretakers teach the children in classrooms on the grounds, and it is a loving and caring environment for a group of amazing children.
