In mid-March 2020 we had a fun visit to the Dai An Orphanage. With the corona virus active in the region, the orphanages and charity homes are taking extra precautions to keep the children safe. One of those measures is limiting visits, and we wanted to make sure Dai An had all the essential supplies and foodstuff during this difficult time.

We spoke with the nuns and made a list of their most pressing needs. Our team brought bags of grains, bottles of soy sauce, bottles of fish sauce, canned meats, packages of seasonings, milk, shampoos, and toilet paper.

After the children had gathered in the garden, we handed out yummy watermelon slices to everyone. Such fun!

This charity trip was made possible through the kind donations of Sharon Kelly and Stephen Milne. Thank you!!!

ABOUT THE DAI AN ORPHANAGE

The Dai An Orphanage is located in Cam Ranh district, south of Nha Trang, and cares for approximately 30 young children. It was founded by the same church that runs the Sunflower Orphanage in Nha Trang. Dai An is in a tranquil countryside locale and has a large facility for the children to grow and play. The caretakers provide a nurturing and loving home for these amazing children. There are also classrooms in the orphanage to provide the children with extra tutoring after school.
